I'd rather have them on my harddrive where I don't need to worry about them getting scratched or looking for the disc.
If I want to find something I just go to that folder.

Don't understand keep loads of films on a hard drive, i'd rather back them up.

one drive only per SATA connection, theres no jumpers or anything just plug in and go

iv only got 40gb on current machine
gotta burn films on cd when iv dl then delete them as only got 5gb left of space.
last few films dl cant fit on disc coz my burner doesnt recognise 800mb cds :mad:

I reckon I've got about 240Gb of various things (games, films, TV programs, MP3s, etc) stored on my machine......so yes, I need more space! :D

films are about 700-800 mb each, programs are about 200-400

the leads only have a connector at the ends not like ide's one in the middle

guess and maybe it just works like IDE, each port can have two devices onto it. Checked your s-ata lead?

Got 2 connectors on my mobo, I'm 99% certain that this means you can have 2 SATA Drives however in the bios it shows master/slave for each connector
