First Sunday is a guideline because its consistent and easy, and it means that you can plan the dates months in advance and keep it free by prioritising it over other things.

I won't always clash with rock concerts or other shows so don't write it off on those grounds.

That said, it's not set in stone and there's no reason why you can't debate it and come up with something. My only advice there would be that once you have set a different date you stick to that.

Continuing to move things around and make changes to try and please everyone just means that the meets are inconsistent and difficult to plan for. As a consequence they will not be successful.

You need to make a decision and stick to it, however diplomatically that is arrived at.

If it were me, I would be setting the date of the 4th at 3pm and I would be meeting at the Cutter Inn in Ely.

I've just looked on the location data for people in this region and its the most central in terms of active users, and its also well connected by A roads to the entire region.

Or if you would prefer and you have better ideas, get them in a poll and set a three week deadline on the votes, then when you have a winner STICK TO IT AND DO IT.

What sunday is everyone one free in oct then?

Wouldnt hurt next time to ask provisionally who's free on a date instead of just setting a date and wondering where people are, eg. last meet was the same weekend as USC. I couldnt go coz i was at a rock festival... lotta people were already doing stuff :cool:

No region meet this month due to combe and trax so there will be a thread up for Octobers meet up when i get back!

Hopefully people will actully come, its dead because no on bothers with the meets anymore!!
