it replaces the existing inlet manifold on your car which is very restrictive, it can give an extra 25-30bhp once setup correctly

Is the mantzel inlet manifold a mission to fit. What exactly does it do?

my car only has disks at the front unfortunatly. Is it possible to change the rear from drum to disk or will this cost loads of money. The suspension has already had some modifications done to it not sure what they are though, I will have to ask my mate who I bought it off. All I want to do at the mo is to just give it another 10BHP or somthing like that.

hardly a need for bigger brakes!! the 256x20mm on the sports are quite adequate

Its better to make your car quicker point to point rather then just faster in a straight line. I would start with suspension mods and bigger brakes before starting on the engine.

Wot would you suggest if I had a grand to spend on mods? Only engine mods at the moment!

you only feel the benefit of a chip when you're running other major mods such had headwork, cams etc.

chipping your car is basically pointless.

Surly to get 160bhp you would have to do alot of mods like maybe nitrus or something

Cool thats not too bad. My cars quite quick I think its could do with a bit more power. It could do with being a bit more responcsive on the throttle. Might get an air induction kit and exhaust system, and maybe get it chipped. Where is the best place to get some mods there are loads of places, but not sure where to start lookin. Anyone help?
