Corsa:
Newer car, bodywork will more than likely be in a better condition, engine will hopefully have covered less mileage and its a newer car so basically less likely to go wrong. Should it go wrong however, it'll be much more costly than a Nova

Nova:
Lighter in weight, faster than Corsa (By a bit, not a huge ammount) basic car, so very easy to work on yourself, parts are dirt cheap and spares are common. The Nova actually handles a bit better than a Corsa.

At the end of the day mate, 90% of people on this forum will say Corsa as they all own them. However, having owneda Corsa and now being a Nova owner, Id point you in the direction of the Nova.

Nova. Cheaper then a corsa to mod (cos everyones upgrading to newer cars) and engine for engine the nova should be faster (as long as it hasnt been thrashed) then the heavier corsa! ;)
