The law states you must be notified of prosecution within 14 days of the offence. They then have 6 months from the notice date to summons you or issue some other penalty.

quote: of course they take slight accidental speeding into account, straight into the bank account. the thing about 10% etc is indeed cack local to me have been told by local pc plod that the cameras trip at 2+mph over the limit, so in a 30, speedo would probably read 35 ish to trip it only becomes a problem when you do silly things like fit cartwheels to lil corsas, then just need to have a brain and remember to run about 5mph slower around town

I don't believe that about zero tolerance, they have to take into account speedo innacuracies, and accidental slight speeding etc

They are legally allowed 6 months to prosecute you, so "14 days then they cant do u is crap".

The law is 10% and 2Mph, so 35 in a 30. You won't get done for 32, sounds like he needs some Auto Glym Bullshit remover

I'm not sure of my speed but this morning I got gunned on the Luton flyover (dual carriageway) which has a 30mph speedlimit. Think when it first saw me I may have been going abit over as I was trying to accelerate and get in the second lane. |
