oh dear dan :P

I can't believe I haven't been caught yet at all... I'm constantly driving too fast.

How long until I get a total of 12 points available?

I'm 18, but I started driving when I was 17... is it until I'm 21? I'm stuck on 6 points or what?

The law states you must be notified of prosecution within 14 days of the offence. They then have 6 months from the notice date to summons you or issue some other penalty.
If you are pulled over for speeding you can consider this as notice. If you are flashed by a camera, bloke with gun, enforcement van etc.... You MUST receive the NIP (notice of intended prosecution) within 14 days.
If you recieve notice after 14 days take the letter to a lawer and he will tell the CPS to stuff it. (for a small fee of course)
There are may other websites with the same information on if you would like to look into it further.

of course they take slight accidental speeding into account, straight into the bank account.

the thing about 10% etc is indeed cack

local to me have been told by local pc plod that the cameras trip at 2+mph over the limit, so in a 30, speedo would probably read 35 ish to trip it

only becomes a problem when you do silly things like fit cartwheels to lil corsas, then just need to have a brain and remember to run about 5mph slower around town

They are legally allowed 6 months to prosecute you, so "14 days then they cant do u is crap".

My bother got done for SP30, and it came thru 3 days before 6 months was up. They claimed that technical difficulties meant that it was delayed. They even had it couried to our house. Due to this 3 points he lost his liscense, as he was in first 2 years of driving.

I'm not sure of my speed but this morning I got gunned on the Luton flyover (dual carriageway) which has a 30mph speedlimit. Think when it first saw me I may have been going abit over as I was trying to accelerate and get in the second lane.

How long does it take before I know if I was?
