anything more than 60mm and ur gonna be pushing it.
i have 64mm, and i think the window guides are sliding agains t the magnet or maybe the wires.

You will prob need the adapter things to fit 6.5" comps you can find em here: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=501 or from your local ice shop i would presume.
