yeah, if i cant sell it as it is then i will sell seperately, as i say ive still got all the original wheels, suspension, lights ect

at the end of the day mate ive had one offer of 2200, and three others all over 1500 so i think 200 is realistic- all of your points are correct mattyb, but i am getting interest in the car.

what can i say- maybe with oxford being a fairly expensive place to live things sell for more money.

And if he no longer wants it - strip it down. I got loadsa £££ back in the end for my parts

i can see where your coming from but if somebody wants a low insurance, reliable car, with decent handling as a base for a kit or something then i reckon they will pay around £2000

Corsa's dont have good handling, even with lowered slightly

This is insurance group 3. Its high for the kinda performance it puts out.

In good condition, with a few mods and cant be arsed to do the work himself

There isnt actually much work done mate, just stick on bits.

No, not really, there isnt. Ur focusing your sale to a young person, and a young person only. From the 6 people who have called bout mine, one was under 25.

Thats my 2p's worth - and i suggest u go straight back to the guy who offered u £2.1k.

Matt

fair enough- as i said i thought 2100 was a good price- i realise that the list price in parkers will be much lower than this

however- i wouldnt say the person who is buying it is a fool- he is getting about 1k`s worth of ice, some alright rims and a reliable little motor

U will not get £2500 for a M plate 1.2 LS. Go look in the parkers or glass guide, its value is closer to £1200 for a good un

Mods dont increase value, if anything they bring it down

I suggest you go back to the person who offered u £2100, coz they are a rarer type of buyer - known as a fool.

I got a mint 1.2 LS white with loads more extra's than urs with FVSH on a L Plate (94), and i'll be luck to get £1.1k for it.
