Originally posted by Paul_J I used to think Flamer Kits were a load of balls - in the same category as neon washer jets etc... but since I've been to cruises and shows with flamers happening near by - its nothing like neon washer jets, these are entertainment! No one's gonna crowd round a car to see their neon washer jets flashing, people WILL crowd round a car to see flames coming out - since not everyone's flames will be the same size, style and duration! At cruises - although we're there only to see nice cars, when someone does a burnout or donut - it does give everyone something to watch... When they can't do those two, flamer kits become the next best thing... Last night at the ace cafe - there was 1 car with dual pipes, at first he was igniting just as it hit the limiter, making huge pops! then he was igniting making flames lick out - then he got it so people simply lit the gases with lighters / cigerettes lol and they just stayed flaming for like a minute! Then there was a beemer - that was shooting out flames like a bloody afterburner on a plane! Coming out pure blue - when I stood directly behind it (even though I was quite far away) I felt like I was being burnt! the heat coming out was fantastic... Then after a minute of doing these the exhaust was completely yellow / orange / red - and he gave it a rest. Both times - there were big crowds! the big difference with this and some 'tacky' mods is they're not always on show. If its not appropriate for the time (i.e. going past a old pensioners home) - then you don't need to have the flames on. If there are people that are bored and want to see something happen, then you can switch it on. Its just the same as entertaining people by having the loudest sound system - yet this is the longest / hottest / fastest flames... Paul J
you mean see who can be the gheyest
