Been troubling me since just after I bought the car, the gearchange was always a bit stiff occasionally between 4th and 5th, sometimes took major effort to get the lever across. While checking the car was out of gear last night, I heard a clunking noise. Took the leather gaitor off the gear stick where the noise was coming from and found a battery that had slipped out my ash tray, down the back and trapped itself below my gear linkage making it stiff. The battery was a bit flat in more ways than one :lol::thumbs:
