best thing to do is declare mods u havnt got to begin with, i have allot to declare and its still only £730. Anything is better than Direct Line who dont insure mods! my insurance has been practically void for 8 months!

They are shite full stop! I was with them the other year when I run someone over, although he was drunk and ran in front of my car when I was doing about 10 mph, still the police came and breathalised me etc etc
End of the day the drunk did not make a claim as he had no leg to stand on and I was left with a dented car and Elephant would do fuck all to help me get the money back for repairing my car! They even took my ncb off me even though I hadn't claimed until I shouted at them on the fone :D always works! women with PMT

I also got the 10 month accelrator thingy and have used it with other companies! I just told them I had x amount of year ncb, they only check occasionally and ask you to send them your renewal certificate from you last company so play dumb! I have and I've not got 4 years ncb for 3 years and 10 months.

So moral is...

Elephant are shit with mods
Elephant are shit at fighting their customer plight
Elephant will scam you all they can!
Elephant are poo

Im with them, 12months fully comp: £800
Im 21, 2yrs NCB, no convictions.
X-Reg 1.2 16V 5door, Alloys, lowering, tints, exhaust and filter. Driven 15K miles a year and garaged at house in a good area of town. Stuck my dad on as a named second driver, he's 50 with 32 years no claims , my premium went down by £150!!! They are tops with me, got to renew soon with same mods and 3yrs NCB, cant wait to see what they quote. Flux has given me the best renewal quote so far of £750, Every single mod declaired and car insured for the silly sum of £6000!

Elephant are abysmal when it comes to quoting for modifications, though......and I've heard rumours some other companies won't accept the 10-month policy as true no-claims, so be careful.

they use Admiral

and

We offer a special Bonus Accelerator policy aimed at customers building their No Claims Bonus. This policy runs for 10 months. Providing you do not have a claim during the policy term, we will offer you a renewal price based on you having earned a full year of No Claims Bonus. This allows you to build up your No Claims Bonus more quickly, saving you money year after year.

all this info is found on their site, or just email them help@elephant.co.uk

I am after some information concerning elephant.co.uk, is there anyone on here or do you know of anyone using them??

what insurance companys do they use??

whats the difference between the 12month annual and the 10month bonus accelerator??

I got a really cheap quote compared to other leading insurance companies, so I would like to proceed with it but i want more information before going through with it......

thanx
