Use tmpenc to split the video into 70 min sections when converting to vcd, use the advanced, source range to pick the start and end points for each section. | |

and if the avi is a divx then tmpenc wont do it cos the sound is VBR - or variable bitrate - u will have picture and no sound - this is EXTREMELY upsettingafter you have waited for it all to get compressed properlyso i advise you believe me - u need to get a program called virtual dub or something and do the audio seperately - a goodsite to check out is http://www.dvdrhelp.com i thnk its called -this has loads of guides for doing divx to vcd etc conversion | |

an avi converted to an mpeg will roughly double in size so you will need to half it and stick it on two and also just to let u know vcd is just an mpeg renamed to a .dat | |
