I use the website 95% of the time.
Other 5% I just read the mag on the shelf at work then put it back!

Best thing i know for selling cars is Bargain pages. Costs nothing to advertise in there, and only costs £1. All the cars in their are local (within 20 mile), and you can also buy access to the website for 24hours for £1. Think AT's website is the good for buying cars, as Exchange and mart's Search facility is crap, and Fish4 is usless as you can only search for make and model.

What you need is a good website, with good search functions (enabled by making entries of cars into the database having lots of fields. Annoying, but then if they really want to sell their car, they'll do it). Along with a low priced magazine, say 50p-£1. With the low priced mag, it means more people will buy it weekly, aswell as people buying it just to have a browse/ value their own car. Making th magazine free may mean too many timewasters will see adverts, which will be annoying for the seller :)

you will have to watch what rights autotrader have and things like that .also if they cut prices to match yours, you would crumble as they are the bigger name

Where do u usually look for cars mostly? on their website or do u go out n buy the book/mag/paper (whatever u want to call it) n prefer to look in there?

Thankyou
