anyone know if its the C20XE in the carlton? I just read this on PVD "2.0 16v "red top" engine, as fitted in Astra Mk 2 GTE 16v, Astra Mk3 GSi, Cavalier and Calibra", it doesnt mention the carlton.

how much is it to get an engine refurbed, and would it be like having a nearly new engine? If i go for the conversion, i want an engine that will last me a while!

Anyone know where i can find out list prices of second hand cars? Or the sort of price for an H reg carlton (not lotus :( ), 1.6 , 100k miles.
