This broke on my locking barrell to - if its a small rod-ring like thing with a really small ball bearing in in?

I de-locked my car after this happened as Vauxhall say its such a common fault they always carry the parts in stock.

BTW Vauxhall wanted £74 to fix it, the parts were £2.50 trade and me and amate fixed mine no problems.

Did the Nova have deadlocking then?

You can get into Nova's by pullin up the rubber, puttin a number plate (or similar) and wigglein it around the lock area. Easier and less chance of scratches IMO.

May help if u get stuck again

Maybe it's the solenoid on the driver's door that is fucked?

now my car is more fcuked and looks even shitter :(

Locking broke on Sunday morning at 3am, so i was locked out. Tried for about 30mins to get in, then left car and walked home..

Next day:
tried to cut out a rear quarter window and didn't get too far, cut the rubber out and could't get thru the sealant, so window just looks crap now.
and i scratched all around the window.....
was about to put a brick thru it, then i thought i'd call RAC.
Bloke came, couldn't unlock it, got in thru boot somehow :boggle:
but still couldn't get locks undone cos of the deadlocks and immobiliser was on.
so he disconnected alarm and left, so i gotta climb thru window and get a funny noise where the alarm trys to activate when i start car.

anyways, iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii got car home and took yesterday off work, managed to unlock car with a coat hanger after much effort, haven't wanted to risk locking it since.
Brought a remote entry thingy (with keypad), and gotta get that fitted now, looked a bit complicated to me

Fcuking car
