The Steel pins inside the gator grip automatically adjust to fit every type of nut, even if they are round with just the three wholes in the middle the pins will turn them.

What i found usaually works with locking nuts is a small tool. It's called a Gator Grip its a universal socket that can fit to nearly any shape nut even some locking wheel nuts. its worth a try. you can get them in Argos page 69 for about a score (£20).

my hair is not ginger adam and the only real hair on that pic is my roots which are brown. the underneath is red and i have black and blonde streaks. its got layers cut into it

im changin it next weekend seeing as ure so concerned any ideas :lol:

lookin at the key there are 3 prongs inside, 2 of which are snapped surely he could of welded them back in or just hammered it on and used it anyway :boggle:

when i lost my key i just drilled them out and it didnt damage the wheels.

il just take it to another of my mates garage tomorow as they have some special tool to do it or something

when i picked me car up he said he would do the work cheap as he could when i fetched it back so im happy :D

If they are drilled theres a chance they will knacker the hubs aswell. Best to weld a nut on or bang a socket onto it. Alternativley an air chisel can do it, had that done on my old fiesta.

yes it was the key he said it had corroded only it was in the same place in my car that he put it after last time he used it :| he can get it off how he wants for me its his problem really

did he snap they key?

u can get some types of nuts of by getting a socket roughtly the same size then banging it on with a hammer
and the put wrench on that

nah luckily stil got me old ones on so i suggested he drilled them out, he didnt seem to impressed with that but at end of day he snapped it and he was last person to use it anyway :|

garage just rang they have snapped lockin wheel nut key :mad:

doesnt look like il get me car back in a hurry :(
