well set up carbs with a decent management system are a hell of a lot cheaper than a decent tb set up......

just getting rid of back seats and carpets and chucking carbs on will deff not get you near a 13 second quarter mile.

highly modded turbos(corsa/novas) get 13.7/8

Not as standard no. Carbs are another accesory like throttle bodies, but a lot more basic.

A standard 2.0litre on Carbs setup right should still see 180bhp.

Also depends how stripped out we are talking. Also depends on wheel size, weather conditions etc.

If were talking basic strip, (Rear seats, doorcards and any basic plastic panels) and 15"s then i'd say ur looking at a 6-6.5 ish. Should see a 1/4 in a low 14. Would be hard pushed to get a 13, but could be possible if u go AK style strippy.

TB's give around 180hp so I would expect carbs to be a bit lower

thought carbs gave 190hp?

depends on the gear box. carbs would give around 170hp. probably 14.0s 6s to 60
