How can the PCD be different if the wheels went straight on?

Excellent, so all I need now is some 5-10mm spacers.

Yes, but when the nipples are screwed in the disc is tighter than without the nipples.

What about wheel offset?

Sam, the PCD is the same as the bolts all lined up, we had the wheels on the car and it moved, they just need pushing out a couple of mm's to stop it rubbing on the caliper.

Yes, longer bolts and some spacers is all I need.

I assume they have the same PCD, ie. 100?

my dad did this the other way round, put fiat alloys onto an astra max van. they stuck out a bit more than the standard ones, yeah, get some spacers. find out what the offset fiats have and the offset of the wheels then get spacers for the difference, plus some longer bolts.

Put some 17's on yesterday and they rubbed only on the caliper, does this mean that I need some spacers? |
