do it ureself, weld the pannel in, grind welds down, very thin layer of filler, lots of sanding, then get it painted bysum1 in the trade as a job on the side, shouldnt cost more than £100

£350 -00 including - Sorting the rust out, welding and smoothing blanking plate ( as oppoesed to fibreglass ones) fitting solenoid; relocating a recess into bumper and fitting and spraying the whole lot

Blanking panel roughly - £50
Fitting &spraying est £150
You wiil need a solenoid to pop the boot too, should be able to get 1 for £20
£220 then !

Looking at a Corsa Sport today, only problem is it has a bit of rust on the tailgate where the spoiler is at the bottom and near the boot lock.

How much is it "roughly" for a smooth tailgate and how long does it take?
