As said above.

Also, with TB u set it up once and once 've got it right ur sorted. PLus u can get more power gains with Throttle bodies and a decent engine managment system.

Carbs need to be re-setup all the time. Pain in the arse. Can't sqeeze as much power as throttle bodies.

yip standard ecu kinda sucks with tbs.

you dont need ecu for carbs.

quite the opposite, an aftermarket mappable ecu runs tbs far better than a chip etc, a worth while upgrade for the remapablility with a laptop!

So do u junk the ECU with tbs ?

so basically carbs just chuck the mixture in and tbs measure how much of the mixture needs to be put in at any revs :)

Yer, the spec is -

2.0 16v
twin 45s
Kent cams
TVR Brundell head (Ported, polished and skimmed)
Scorpion back box
Facet fuel pump
and oversize shafts, hubs and CVs. :)

Hes also got one of them shiney bailey header tanks with the oil breather mod.

Realy dont like the rest of the car tho, its been resprayed in a horrible pinky/red flip :o

i always put tbs down as fuel injected twin 40s/45s/48s.

and as said tbs fuel one cylinder each

twin carbs serves 2 cylinders each, throttle bodies serve each cylinder separate..........i think..

Theres a nova in this months TV with a C20XE on twin 45s. They look similar to what i thought was throttle bodies on the same engine (different car) at PV2003.

Cheers. :)
