Did they ask how much the alloys were worth? Just wondering cause ive got a few quotes and NU seem to be the cheapest quote.

If they did aak, how much did you say?

I phoned up Tesco the other day to see how much they wanted to change my 14" standard alloys to 15" astra rims. I laughed when they said £96

No she simply asked if they were made by the original manufacturers and if I had locking nuts :boggle:

I have to point out that traffic cops have got feck all to do with insurance companies. it is how they see what you have done. traffic cops only care if you break the law

Tints are a clear modification, call up your insurance and ask them if tints are a modifcation.

Better still, call up local traffics and ask them.

Stop being immature about declaring things like stickers / colour coded dash.

Thats bollox, you only have to declare things that actually change the car.

I have put a blue interior light in should I declare it, no because its silly, clear repeaters..no again, hows about colour coded dash, fuck off.

Alloys, exhuast system, lowering all declared, stereo..........tried to declare it but they didnt want the info. Taken my side strips off, should I declare that......no, hows about my CorsaSport stickers..........nope.

Dont be stupid.

Was speaking to a traffic cop on Sunday (in mates car) and you have to declare every single thing that isnt standard with the car.

Tints included.

"Hello? How much extra is my insurance going to be if I fitted some clear side repeaters?"

:o

You dont need to declare tints, surely.

They are an extra asthetic modification that in no way affects the vehicle.

Just been quoted £100 for alloys / lowering / tints.

Problem is they only do three modifications per policy.

WTF is that about? :boggle:
