Didn't save me anything but I'm glad i did it as i was a bit nervous when i first passed and gave me some more time with my instructor (who was yummy :D)

Was only gonna save me about £40 on insurance, so I never bothered.

Usually one years no claims, but depends on the insurance company. I got £300 back form tesco's for doing it :)

It does help abit, depends who your insured with.
it should give you the equivalent to 1 years NCB. but that is only for the first year you are driving after that it a waste.

got mine of my driving instructor for £30.00, worth it for me as i saved about £200.00 on insurance for my 1st years driving.
