Does a corsa C not simply have the same information as the B - i.e. colour being identified by a listed code such as 82L which appears on its own on the panel?

There are usually two plates on the front slam panel; one is the POC (product options code) plate, the other has your chassis number on it.

The POC plate is the one you need as it contains the codes for your car colour, trim level, options, etc. unless you have EPC, you will need to take your car to a Vauxhall dealer and get them to decode the information for you.
