It took me fookin ages to get my bit of plastic off cept mine was yellow. It took me around 2 hours with a hacksaw, lighter, screwdriver and a pair of pilers...all i can say is GOOD LUCK | |

get a good grip on the plastic bit with something and then pull hard whilst turning the plastic bit off- probably not best way to do it but it worked for me | |

Removing the gear knob can either be really simple or a bit of a pain in the ass if you decide that you want to keep the old gear knob! | |
