Nilfisk - It's the one to get. Supposedly has a better component in the engine which is made of metal rather than plastic in the karchers.

Me also. For the sake of £15 I would take a punt with the Karcher. At least you know you will be able to get attachments etc for it.

Same here, mine has decided to die after 2 years though.

It will probably be fine, but your neighbours may think you're a pikey.
serious question, but would that really bother you personally?

Not at all  I have a nilfisk which isn't as well known as Karcher, but does the job perfectly fine for me.
nilfisk make expensive industrial hoovers. I used one about 50 minutes ago. True story.

I have the Karcher K2 and it's spot on, use it for the garden paths all the time, brings em up like new. I'd take a pun on the aldi one for 35 quid and especially if u get a 3 year warranty. If out goes wrong or your not happy take it back and go buy a different one.

I wonder if the cheaper ones use the same bizarre 'piston' pumps that the Karchers use?

New Karchers are no where near as well made as the older ones.

I think a water pump in a plastic housing is old technology now, so i'd buy the cheap one, Karcher obviously can't drop their prices to match, but i bet all pressure washers are more or less the same thing internally.

The benefit of the Karcher's is you can get spares hence I'm still rocking a 12 year old Karcher

Anyone used one. Any good?

Don't need it for any big or regular jobs. Worth a punt for £35?

Comes with foam gun attachment etc so will be handy for the car.

Notice homebase are doing the Karcher k2 compact for 50 quid at the moment too....
