I hadnt thought of that ian, ive checked everything and all is working fine, everything looks ok so im not overly concerned, just that was the first time ive heard it since ive owned it and obvs cant take any chances where brakes are concerned

P.S this is not whilst braking, literally a small noise when im stationary and lift off brake, like if i apply the handbrake at the lights and luft off brakes

Hello everyone,
i have 62 plate astra, i noticed yesterday that when i lift off the brakes from standing, i can hear the brake pump creek, kind of like a door swinging in an old horror movie lol, its not loud but ive never noticed it on my previous cars, im not sure if it has always done it either, i just happend to have the window down at the time. Brakes are fine, disks n pads were replaced last year.
Anyone know what it could be and if its anything serious?

Cheers all,
Matt
