Pretty sure to remove codes on here, you can just remove the battery for a while. Disconnect battery for hour(?) to try. Before starting it, check to see if there are any codes

ive changed the dizzy cap already, but the ecu has been left on the car all the time. how do i reset my ecu as this might get rid off all them faults?

After another 2 minutes of googling you need to replace the dizzy and also check the wiring/replace the throttle position sensor.

Fault code 12 just means that the diagnostic test has started.

Assuming you're running the Bosch Mototronic ECU then this will help you, literally took 1 minute of googling.

anyone know whats the fault codes are 12,93,72 on c20xe dizzy and how to sort them cheers
