Prep the plastic with red scotch pad you can get from halfords, de-grease it to remove all dust and oils form your hand, brief dusting of plastic primer to make sure the new paint sticks and the simoniz matt black paint, few coats of light dusting, add more if required | |

Other alterative could be to go down the gloss back or a nice dark anthracite colour but not sure what to do as i don't want it to look tacky. | |

Upol do some half decent stuff called Plast-X, comes in different textures, different colours etc | |

Used Wurth stuff back in my bodyshop days. Pretty good effect could be had. | |

Are you trying to restore an old ABS bumper? If so just go over it with a hot-air gun and it will look good as new again. | |
