could be that, another way of checking is if you hear any excessive road noise, jack the car up and spin the wheels, they should turn freely | |

think it cost me £50-60 fitted for rear wheel bearing on my sport......at a garage...not vaux though.. | |

Fronts can be done without a press, but wouldnt recommend drifting them in with a socket and hammer, rears are quite easy just for the bearings, but if you wanna change the races then you gotta drift them out with a hammer and flat head screwdriver, and then use a socket to put them back in. | |

Jack the car up and hold the wheel top to bottom and see if there's any play. | |

my wheel got buckled cos the tyre pressure dropped, seriously fucked the wheel and tyre up (pick the reparied wheel up 2morrow ;) ) | |

big hammer and socket for rears. took about 10/15 mins to do, big tip, don't buzz them up tight, have to be hand tight, then a little tweak | |

Passed me MOT at the weekend, but have been advised that my rear wheel bearings are on their way out.....any idea on price to get these fixed :wave: |
