Ive got a feelin it wont work as im sure a car got featured with 1 but it wouldnt work. something to do with frequencies??

nah it wont work in this country my m8s dad use to have 1 in his lexus and he could never get that to work

or u cud get a home use one and a power invertor and just use that.

generally no...

If it's an aftermarket unit, then the Chances are that it will have a/v inputs around the back... however to use them you'd need a tv tuner/dvd player that outputted an NTSC signal, or use some kind of signals convertor, which I'm not sure if you can get them for 12v car use. If he's gonna throw it out, I'll take it... I can use my jap dreamcast with it probably :)

i am prettysure u can get convertors in the back of like what hi-fi or T3 or something but they are for normal house TV's so i dunno if that would apply to the car one as i am not 100% on how they work

is there an adaptor or anything?? My dad just bought a Toyota Landcruiser Prada fresh off the boat with a TV head unit - doesnt work here so he's going to swap it for a normal radio unless it can be adapted???
