Funny how all students have the same ideas.
We had similar discussions when I was at uni so 4 of us brought all our Scalextric from home. We built a 4 lane track which went round my room through a link up room which then went into my neighbours room.
Then best fun was had when we raced Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles on Skateboards.

I have lots of scalextrics made a big circuit before in a hall. used to have mine up for like 6 months of the year taking up the entire front room.
not only jumps but can also do the smashing in things out the way routine as well

i will do! ill have to get my mates digtial video camrea or my sisters, should be a laught

if you do that, then video it with your camera if poss and post a link or summin, we can all award marks for technique, distance etc

my brother put his gerbil on one once and raced that round. soo cruel but strangely amusing

underwood - why not try settin fire to that shit car and videoing it as it flies thru the air - just for added excitement

Nath i think ill have ago at that! we have these shit jump things wht you put in the track and they work 1 out 3 times! ill have a go when im bored

i made a long track

and jumped a car out the window into back garden!
kick ass!

Then make jumps and try to land the cars in the grooves of the track again. Takes forever.

me and my mates had a set, but it got sidelined in favour of a PS2 and gran turismo 3

CorsAsh- scalextric is not bad when you have been bored doing your work and you want to mess around

You'll soon get bored then start making jumps and stuff. Beer can bowling is fun :thumbs:

alright, it might sound shit! but we were pretty wasted one night and we started talking about how good scalextic were so mate flat mate brought one back with him last weekend! They are good to mess around on when your bored........
