If that`s all you were doing then check everything is plugged in correctly and give it a spray in wd40 as it has got a bit wet,may have a hairline crack in the coilpack that has allowed moisture inside.

I'd remove coilpack keep warm overnight and try again in morning, along with ht leads

right my new problem is as follows... on satrday i was changing my crappy airfilter over to a airbox, it was snowing at the time and the engine bay did get wet.. now the car wont start it just keeps turning over, we know its fueling because can smell it, but theres no spark so today i got a new crank sensor as i was told this could cause the problem, but after fitting it the car still isnt starting. so would anyone have any suggestions? i would think its extremly rare for all 4 ht leads to go so would this mean a new coil pack?? or something else... any help would be great! thanks |
