Just ordered some of these. A mate has them for his E46 and they are perfect. Cheep as fook too

Was there a noticeable difference? For £12 I might just order them and see if they're decent enough

I've never had trouble with mine and genuinely never been flashed when there on. I'll be going for 4300k next though as I don't like the blueness mine have there 6000k the 8000k were even worse

I just prefer really bright headlights compared to the dull orange candle light I normally have

Osram Nightbreakers are a great bulb, really notice the difference. Any standard halogen with a blue filter for a white look will never be as bright.

I've got projectors on my car, but assuming HID's will just cause me unnecessary trouble.

I don't mind spending up to £50 on the bulb set as long as its bright white

Don't go for any of the halfords one's unless you go for the most expensive as I used to work for them and having tried EVERY bulb option (they were free to try) I hardly noticed the difference until fitting the £40 odd ones

I've had HID's and will never go back now love them. Although I have projectors, in fact I have a set of depo projectors for the next car in my ebay watch list ready

Might have a look in Halfords tomorrow then.

Ha, not a fag at all, I had no projectors in the corsa as I had them in morrettes, So the beam was probably at this angle / and not - ....... if that makes sense!

I've always found Osram Nightbreakers to be good.

HID's are terrible in most Halogen headlamps.

I've had HID's in the past on corsa's, got fed up of people flashing me so I wouldn't have them again.

Just want a brighter bulb, as mine is like the left above, yellow

A question i was actually going to post this morning so you have saved me doing it.lol be interested to see what people are using as i dont want hid's if its going to be a problem at mot. I have some uprated bulbs in at the min but not sure what ones they are. Ideally they could be brighter though.

Boring topic I know, but who's got what headlight bulbs?

What is the brightest white you can get without getting a HID kit and blinding everybody on the road?

Would the right hand image be 4200k? 6000k? Is 6000k quite blue?
