Originally posted by CORSA NUT Been looking for the last week for my daily runaround and can't decide on what to get :( my van sold yesterday so I have 3k MAX to spend although under this would be better. Did have a bigger budget but were getting a new front door and some windows now  Anyway the petrol running through my veins is ruling my head and I keep getting drawn to cars which aren't the best MPG wise! This is probably the only major factor I have as insurance is fine and maintenance isn't an issue. Cars I SHOULD be looking at... Mk1 Octavia VRS Vectra/Signum 1.9 & 2.2 CDTI's Mondeo 2.0 TDCI and other boring shit that would be ideal as we have a 21 month old and the extra space is handy plus we could actually use it I've the QashQai as the RB5 is a no no. Cars I keep looking at... Civic type R Clio 182 ( not too bad on fuel) Golf 1.8T (these aren't actually bad on fuel so is a definite option) Other newer better scoobies Beemers And well pretty much every car as I'm constantly on EBay/PistonHeads/AT looking  as you do. I just don't want to get something that will bore the hell out of me I'm 6 months like a Vectra but then again if get a Type R and it does 25MPG around town I'm not really any better off :| I want a car I can do bits too as well hence the Golf. Suppose I've still got the modifying bug in me at 31. The fuq would you lot do? [Edited on 11-11-2012 by CORSA NUT]
