i reckon i may get one. i think they look alright. will see how well they work at high speeds as normal wiper arms lift about 160+

blade on mine was longer than storm one, can't remember exact length though. mine seemed to work fine whilst i had it fitted to the car

I didn't find mine to practical - it didn't clear water from the screen as well as having two wipers and distracted me a bit. Perhaps you could get a longer blade than then one Storm sold with their kits and it would work better?

i still think its a cool mod if done correctly - very oldskool but you have to have the proper wiper, not normal one converted IMO

got one on mine

modified the linkage mounts so it sits in the centre and not slightly to the drivers side, works perfect

i want one now. light weight race car look.

I had one on my white corsa, practically it was shite, they don't clear enough of the screen on the drivers side.

Changed it for a normal setup with a Tigra Scuttle in the end. I think I still have it somewhere with a smoothed fibreglass scuttle as well.

Steve will be all over one. Prob make his own wiper from ally and ply wood.

Nic Barnes

i reckon it will be 1kg lighter in weight so might invest.

Had one on my old B, was shite in the rain on motorway, wasn't fast enough. And broke a few times.

its probably not so popular anymore because many modern cars don't have a wiper in the middle. even the corsa is slightly off centre

I saved one in my eBay last night oddly thinking the same never see it done any more. I'm tempted by one for weight saving purposes and so it's more of a race car look.

I see it hard to come by cars that have a swc now a days. Just wandered what my fellow corsa owners thoughts are on them? If anyone has a picture of a corsa with a swc could they please share it?
