this pic shows one of my front coilovers before i fitted them. see the top bolt hole?? thats what gives you the camber adjustment. but as yours is just springs and shocks you wont have the longer hole to adjust camber. i had the same prob on my old mk3 astra, used to go through the inside of tyres like theres no tommorow.

if you have adjustment on your coilovers for camber like my cheap fk ones then you will be able to get it sorted. i got my trackin/camber done on a very good tracking machine after i set my coilovers up and my tyres are fine. some places will only use a basic machine to set the toe in/out which is probably whats happened here.

Is it lowered on coilovers? Most of them have some way of adjusting camber etc

Inner edge is camber is it not? Unless you have camber bolts or some other way to adjust it the camber issue will always be present.

Did you lower it after you had the tracking done? If so it'll be that

hello, basically i replaced my tyres about a good 4-5 months ago now. and the inside of the tyres are getting low and the outside have still got like 4-5mm left. i also had my tracking done not long after i had new tyres fitted. and ive not once kerb my car neither. so is this down to having a lowered car as well? |
