For insurance purposes, the points stay on record for 5 years.
For totting up purposes, the points stay on your license for three years.

For example. I was fined and got three points in Feb 2000 and then got fined and another three points in Aug 2002 so I had six points on my license.
By Feb 2003 I only had three points on my license, but still got six till Feb 2005 when it comes to my insurance.
Does that make sense?? It does to me cause I got em

to be honest that not bad...
coz some young driver would say moeny doing that.

when insurance companies qoute yung driver with 1.5+ premiums and the tthough of paying for maintains to pass the MOT they might as well take a risk.

Fines should be more 4 no insurance!!!
