Originally posted by LeeM £10k is a good offer. youre reaching the limit of what you can do with it now aside from spend a hell of a lot putting a new engine in. if i was you id sell for £10k, buy an m3 and charge it with the money you were gonna spend on the fabia
its not all about the label and how it drives tho i get in my car with my sounds and gauges and leather and actually love driving it, i get in my mates m3 and it looks so old and dated, tape player and shit, dull orange dash that looks like its from the 80's, i just dont like it, i wouldn't swap my car for a 46. personal preference
Not all M3's have a tape player  But the design is 10 years old now so yeah the orange dials are dated but once you have been around the car a while the features that the car has makes you realise why the car was like 40k new or whatever it was. The problem with the M3 is they don't really make sense until you get it on track, and probably why some people don't understand why I wanted an M3 when the MPS would have been faster in a straight line once mapped. But yeah it is personal preference at the end of the day, but you can't compare a 10 year old design to a car that's 5 years newer
