apparently u can get a fully forged k20 for around £1800 but i think thats just engine no gearbox, loom, etc . .
then your looking at a hell of a lot of fab work
custom mounts
custom exhaust system

its alot of work but they put out good power.
friend of mine is in the process of building a K20 turbo eg3 dx

realy like to see how yours turns out tho

theres miles more info available about fitting a 2.0 than there is about fitting a 1.8 and they sell a 1.8 c! the corsa c has hardly been messed with really

Small block turbo Is the way to go but management is going to be a massive cost.

Z18XE, then Throttle Bodies or a Turbo setup.

I think Z20LET is the most common conversion and therefore has the most amount of advice relating to it. Only issue is the donor engine could be expensive but that's offset by the job being easier than something less well documented.

Most of the time, the reason people always tend to pick a certain choice in these scenarios is because it's easiest/cheapest/etc. Being new and different isn't always the best option imo.

anyone got any ideas on a good engine build for corsa c
dont think its worth tuning the z12 unless u can get decent gains from it?
so was thinking maybe trying to source the 1.4 turbo out of an sri corsa d (just to be different tbh),
but a mate at work suggested if i wanna go all out get a z20 top end on a z22 bottom then go for a vortex supercharger (tho i assumed without asking this would be costly).
a z20let still seems tempting but want to try something new if possible.

has anyone else got any ideas ?

;)
