Lube the window up with Vaseline. Worked on my dads car. You just can't open it again afterwards

i'll try that. also need an idea on what to use to create a failsafe catch system that will divert water to the drain holes. thought of making a part out of fibreglass but not sure what i would use to create the shape to begin with?

Yeah I think so, the water just run off instead of building a puddle, was an old land rover disco

forgot to say, already applied some gel stuff to the seals which is supposed to bring them back to life but still leaking. its only at the back especially towards the passenger side

So he reckons to phone a local glass company that do windscreens because they also do sun roofs. Autoglass etc.

Are you fully comp insurance? Smash the glass and your insurance company will replace it with just your excess to pay. Autoglass and others do sunroofs too.

Sunroof is leaking on my wifes 2004 Nissan Micra K12

Its getting in at the rear, behind the seal there seems to be a gap. I've enquired at the dealer and they don't sell the seal seperately, they want £700 for a new glass with seal. Enquired with a few sunroof places and they seem to think you can't buy the seals seperately, and also state that it probably won't fix the problem. one said it definitely needs a new sunroof, how they can say this i don't know?

I've got all the headlining out, there are drain holes on each corner, none are blocked. The system for catching any water that does get through is totally inadequate, it doesn't divert it properly so it just comes out everywhere.

Any ideas? Did think about just sealing it permanently but the wife wants to keep it
