Everyone slates Sony, but, if they are so bad, then why do i keep seeing so many feature ICE cars in the UK, Europe and America with them pushing big DB!!! I think Sony's sound quality has come up a lot. I dont like the colours  (Dont even like my own subs red writing).

Personnally, id save that £250, look at getting a sub in a better market, say, DB Audio 15", a Cerwin Vega, JL subs are fantastic, massive DB with them feckers. Build your box to suit the subs requirements (like i had mine done, thats why its so loud), then save a bit xtra to get a bloody good amp to run it!

I've waited ages to get my system really good. Hoping it'll b ready in two weeks. Just the ICE, not the neons n gauges etc.

My 15"s are great, but only get one if you like ur jungle n sh1t as they play great thru em. I wish i had got x2 12"s now though, arse!

dont i have one and its wank.

if you are planning on running 2 subs from 1 amp, you really need a monoblock and 2ohm subs.

Yeah I have heard good things about Vibe amps so I am definatly getting the VP2, at £99.99 you cant complain for that quality either, just need to find a 15" sub to match.

Yeah sony is poor. My mate has a 10" Sony XPlod, paid a fair bit for it, cant remember how much, but my 2 year old Boss subs whip the ass offof his.

I am now considering Infinity Kappa Series subs after talking to a car audio guy who came to sort my stereo out from my insurance company.

Yes but the thing about alpine is there Type R 15" subs are hard to get hold of, and they are very expensive, yes they kick out some good power ratings but I cant afford an amp to match them.

I have 2 x 10" subs in my boot at the moment, want a 15" and an amp to power it, doesn't matter about the box as I am doing a boot build.

So far best I have come up with is
Vibe VP2 amp 1x300W RMS + either

Rockford Fosgate RFZ3415 15" Punch Z Series 150W RMS/ 300W Peak £89.99
Rockford Fosgate RFP4415 15" Punch HE (4 ohm) 150 watts RMS/300 watts peak. £134.99

The more expensive one I assume is better quality, thing is if I go for the cheaper one then I could wait a bit and get another cheaper one and run them both off the Vibe as its 2x150W RMS or 1x300W RMS.

What do you think/Recommend??

Cheers,
Sean.
