If you are loosing coolant fast, its your head gasket. The tapping noises could be the hydraulic tappets if the oil is fucked with so much water mixed with it. Sounds like a hefty job to fix :(

Hiya folks!

I got a problem with my corsa sport and it is driving me crazy not knowing what it is!! It is a 1.4 16v.

When I start it up it seems to be really choked up, the exhaust blows and pops, there are tapping noises under the bonnet and it is missing all the time. It also overheats quite a lot as well. Ive been having to put water in nearly every day!!! There are no signs of the radiator leaking though. Ive heard that it could be a sticking valve, faulty injector or head gasket. Any clues??
