Could be the chip inside the key that is broke, if its that try going to a key cutter and asking them to cut a new one with a new chip, blank chips programme the first time they are used

most places who make up new keys etc can do it, or if you look on AON there are a few people on there who can

That will only be for the remote bit. It will be tech2/opcom you need.

the handbook says unlock door with key then turn in ignition and job done, but i think it only applies to the flip key as this does not seem to work

If its anything like an astra G then turn the ignition (not start it) on and press the lock and unlock button. it should make the key sync

Just got a new car today, well 08 plate astra H, one of the keys is not workiong, i changed the battery but nothing still.

Its the fixed key , not the flip out one.

Anyone know how to sync it.
