Originally posted by Graham88 That gauge thingy showed it was warped? It was changing depth as the disc turned = warped. How do you know what temperature you need to warp a disc? Standard discs stand up to less heat than uprated discs. How do you know what discs were on the Scooby? How do you know that all the other stuff was unscathed? You are picking my argument to pieces but leaving your own argument open. Nearly all car manufactures rotors are made from the same metals. Which primarily will be grey cast iron. I don't know other stuff was unscathed but if you reached that kind of temperature need to heat them to a pliable state then there would be a few other things on your list for replacement.
