quote:Yeah I do - click here for pic's I was wanting 17's originally but found a guy sellin Speedline Alessio 2's so grabbed them. Glad I got 16's rather than 17's now coz the car is slow enough as it is. Plus it looks great lowered 60mm on the 16's  Handles better than standard 13's or 14's, doesn't slow the car down that much (but there is a small difference) and looks better in proportion with the rest of the car.

Depends if u wanna put a subtle kit on it also. For the mix between the two, i'd say 16"s.

i got a set of rollerblades that dont fit me if u want the wheels off them. they only done about 20miles, plenty of tread left, one careful lady owner, good little runners, etc etc

Not if u get the right profile tyre. itll be slower on 17s.

hhmm, arnt 16" tyres expensive to cos they are rarer than the other sizes. also, will my car be a lot slower on 16s?

the bigger u go the slower ul go, 17s will need arch mods no doubt. 16`s r a sensible choice. Wont handle as well with 17s. 15s r good 4 handlin but ur usually limited as to wot wheels available. + the bigger u go the more lower profile tyre ul need makin ur wheels mor vulnerable.

Lookin into gettin some alloys soon but dont know what size to get! My car is only a SXi 1.2 16V and my mate has got the same. he has 17s on and now its soooo slow my mums 1.0 micra could beat it in a race. he has to ride the clutch to get it to go and i dont really want this. |
