Originally posted by Daimo B Unless im naughty and come on like now ;) I could reply to a few of the replies on here. But there really is no point. D4's total come to around £15,000 also, but its not as mad as Donnas. I've spent it (inc £5k for the car) over 3+ years, and i'd much rather spend my money on something i love rather than waste it on beer and pi55ing it up. My family didn't like me modifying at first, but now they realise what my car means to me, its a way of life now really, all the things i've done because of modified cars, and they are glad i've spent money (even if i dont get 1/10 of it back, who cars, i earn my money to spend it) and i've got a lovley little car to show for it. Yup, could have also bought a TVR, but not in one go, and insurance, running costs, fuel, servicing etc. I love my corsa, have regretted spending the money on it sometimes, but now its modified externally, im totally happy. And i don't intend to stop spending money on it yet. Donna done it for her, im glad she has done it, we have a great time, we've been all over the country, to Ireland, and this year off to Belguim. So theres more than just modifying a car than money. Theres a lot lot more. I wouldn't expect some people to understand that. The peopel that truly love modified cars will read this post and realise that Donna, and a few others are perfectly right in why they have done the car. The others who choose to take the p1ss are those who's opinions don't matter. Well done Donna, its a lovley car, stunning to be out in, great fun to drive, looks bloody lovley and im dead proud of her.
