Were you using OEM cables or others? I snapped several pattern cables then went to a Vaux cable and had no problem at all...

It had just came off at the engine bay end, put it back on and adjusted it, perfectly fine now.

Obviously wasnt fitted properly in the first place

as said above you may need a clutch. plus when you get a new cable make sure its the correct length one

yes sorry corsa b x16xe, my mate fitted it as i don't know much about them.
it didnt feel that smooth, like the pedal was "clicking" if anybody gets what i mean lol.
the thrust bearing is on its way out so could that be anything to do with it?

Your clutch may need replaced, i went through 3, changed clutch and that solved it.

Take it your driving a corsa b? If so you must be putting it in the wrong way and stressing the cable

you must be putting it in wrong so its causing tension. wither that or its the wrong cable?

Does anybody have an idea as to why my clutch cable keeps snapping?

Changed it a month ago as it snapped at the pedal.

This time going along the A1, pedal hits the floor.
Was pitch black though so cant see where its snapped.

Had to drive the 60 miles home rev matching lol.

Cheers!
