As above the duty cycle on the ecu is setup for the injector flow rate, if you put on injectors with a bigger flow rate the engine will over-fuel and more fuel without more air equals bore wash.

Yep, would cause overfueling, bigger injectors are not needed unless your running loads more air, and i dont mean just some extra air from a powerbox etc, the ecu can handle that stuff.

If anything, 1.6 injectors would slow down your 1.4.

are they different? Been offered 1.6 injectors for my x14xe Looking to get others parts soon too e.g vx inlet, 4-2-1.
