sunstrips can be offending to the style police if they have 'motorsport' or your car's manufacture across it.

my old car failed its mot cause the sunstrip was too big, the reason being was that the windscreen wipers went over the bottom of the sunstrip by more than 1 inch, which makes it illegal

No, I think you will find that the copper fined your friend for just HAVING a sunstrip.

Lord Justice Woolf recently submitted his final report on car modifying and ruled that sunstrips are indeed of ghey and those driving with sunstrip livered cars should be dealt with accordingly.

Was just wondering if any1 knew the maximum depth a sunstrip can be?? I thought it was 8 inches but a friend just got dun for 6¼ inches as the copper said it was max 6!
