A Quicksilver seems the way forward then, will have a full time job after I finish this year at college and wanted to see what kinda uprated cars I could get. The quicksilvers are nice cars, and nippy, but not stupidly fast or expensive on the insurance.

Gav, your insurance co might say it's the same as 4yrs NCB but it ain't really. You'll struggle to transfer it.

Even at that age, I think I will forget that idea then, LV gave me a quick quote of between £1100 and £1400 for a 106 Quicksilver......very tempted.

£834 on Colin's motor seems more than fair, it's a long way from standard!

I paid £1200 f/c at 21 on a 2.0 16v Corsa with a fair few mods.

I'm 24 now, and it's covered on the company insurance which is nice :)

Nah was looking for people with 2.0 conversions, maybe I should change it to any hot hatch variations.
