mine rattles around when jacked up,
passed mot,
spring can't physically go any where on mine, top platform doesn't move, so isn't unsafe

Dont use helper springs on Gaz. Gaz do an Ultra Low kit which has longer springs so it keeps tensioned. Just just wiretie the holders to the springs, once the weight of the car is on them they are fine only when you jack it up they move.

I hope you just need some kind of helper spring....are you running the platforms?

Spring poundage was advised by balance motorsport who raced a corsa.....they said they had that poundage and that had worked on the car they raced?

Suurpose should call them really to see what they did.

Longer springs i.e more coils means a softer spring doesn't it?

No.

You can get longer springs from Gaz. Or you can wire tie the cup onto the spring.

Wont longer springs have the same effect in the fact that the car would still sit high?

Wonder if anyone has had any issues with rear gaz coilovers on a corsa B?

When the adjustment is taken up to take the slack out of the springs the car sits too high!

If they are wound down then the spring floats around like a cock in a sock and could allow the top hat to come away as there is a cut out in the side.

Does anyone know if the shock length is adjustable or if gaz sell those little soft springs to take up that slack?

Thanks in advance for any help.
